Create Account
The first steps to playing Starium XCV.
Position Creation
Prerequisite: Create account
Position creation establishes a new empire in Starium XCV which includes the following activities:
- Pick a game to join
- Select colony type
- Take Leadership test (optional)
- Selecting leader's skills, look & name
- Selecting empire’s name & start game play
User Interface
The Starium XCV main user interface is made up of two sections: horizontal Information Bar and vertical Navigation Bar.
System Map
Game play starts at the System Map which highlights the local sun, habitable planets, gas giants and asteroid fields. Players can leave message beacons in orbit around the sun or local planets.
Sun Map
The Sun Map details activities in orbit around a system's star. This is important because fleets can only arrive and depart a system from the star's orbit.
Galactic Map
The Galactic Map locates an empire's fleets in different star systems. Also included are the scanning and jump distances fleets work within.
