Leaders are characters and personalities in the game who run your empire. They lead armies, command space fleets, build infrastructure, find buried treasure, etc., in accordance with their skills. Empires begin with three leaders, one of which is the primary leader. These leaders start with a variety of skills based on the original colony type and skills associated with their race.
Things To Know About Leaders
- There are 36 leader types that start the game with different leader skills.
- Each leader potentially possesses a different combination of 3 personality traits drawn from 13 possible traits.
- Leaders are sent on different of Missions where they can improve skill levels or acquire a new one as well as influence a wide variety of game mechanics.
- A leader’s ability to influence game play is based on respective skill levels.
- Artifacts are collected and played using leaders.
- Leaders will eventually die, but can have their life extended using a Virtue.
- A leader can be cloned using a Virtue.
- The player can commission new leaders and decommission others.
