When two armies occupy the same area it is usually a precursor for a Ground Battle.

Battle Results

  1. Pyrrhic Victory: Success with such a heavy cost that it feels like a loss.
  2. Draw: Neither army wins.
  3. Exchange: Armies shooting at each other.
  4. Skirmish: A small localized fight.
  5. Minor Victory: An army achieves a limited tactical objective, but did not alter the strategic dynamics in its favor.
  6. Major Victory: An army achieves a significant victory that not only defeats the enemy, it advanced their overall strategic goals.
  7. Decisive Victory: An army achieves such an overwhelming and comprehensive victory that it establishes conditions to end hostilities.
  8. Defeat: An army loses battle by suffering significant derogation in capability or will to fight.
