Religion can impact a population’s Support and Efficiency Index (SEI) that modifies production from that population segment. Religion also impacts complacency and happiness. Religious agents and leaders have many actions to increase or decrease a religion of a population segment. As a result, outside empires can send religious agents to an area in the attempt to change local complacency to their advantage. This could be to increase a population’s happiness or make them restless for change.
Things to know about Religion:
- A population segment can have multiple religions.
